On Tuesday October 15, 2024, Township officers had the pleasure in delivering the collected goods for the Hurricane Helene Relief Team to the Ridgewood Movers in Mahwah. Our collected donations were then loaded amongst the 5 large moving trucks or 2 shipping containers and are now on their way to the Asheville North Carolina area, which was greatly impacted by the recent hurricane.
This was a collaborative effort with the Mahwah, Franklin Lakes, Elmwood Park Police Departments along with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, Ridgewood Movers of Mahwah and many more! We would like to extend our gratitude to our community members and colleagues for this opportunity to help those in need! Donations are now closed!
